About Abused Swan The swan is chosen for the symbol of grace and beauty that these abused mother’s have. When all mothers' are viewed from the perspective of the story, "The Ugly Duckling," others gain an understanding of what these mothers have gone through. Regardless of the mental, physical, and emotional abuse these mothers possess an inner radiance. Now the duck has custody of her children and the court is allowing this to happen. Mothers are also losing custody to Child Protective Services when the father is an alcoholic or drug abuser and the courts are allowing this to happen. Must see video |
